Kim and Katya have had the privilege to train and certify with Salwa Salim, a practitioner of the Malaysian postpartum healing tradition and owner of Birth Matrons. The mission of Birth Matrons is:

Our mission begins with reclaiming the authentic bengkung belly binding true to its origin and setting the industry standard. We provide birth workers with comprehensive training and resources in traditional holistic postpartum care practices to provide optimal support to new mothers throughout their postpartum journey."
