Learning Styles:
We all have different ways of processing information. The Prenatal Lactation Visit is built around this idea.
-
Visual- I provide videos for you to watch (i.e. how to latch on a baby, a baby showing hunger cues, etc.)
-
Reading/Writing- I provide a 20 page ‘Intro To Breastfeeding’ booklet for you to keep. You can write notes on it during the visit, and read it later for review.
-
Auditory- We will discuss the main components of breastfeeding during the visit.
-
Kinesthetic- During the visit we do a hands-on, simulated breastfeeding session.
Numerous studies show that breastfeeding knowledge significantly increases breastfeeding success!
The Prenatal Lactation Visit costs $200. Feel free to have anyone else join (i.e. spouse, friend).
