About Postpartum Doula Services
Working With Madam Doula
Welcome to our postpartum page, where we believe postpartum is just as sacred and worthy of our attention as birth. While much of our society believes postpartum is a "vacation" or "time to bounce back," we know it's one of the most challenging and rewarding times in a person's life. We like to think postpartum is a time for healing, bonding, and rebirth into parenthood. Our team provides postpartum care that prioritizes family-centered, evidence-based, holistic support to aid you in this journey.

If you're interested in working with our team, the first step is to submit an inquiry and then schedule a meeting with our postpartum team coordinator and owner, Katya Daily. From there, you will be paired with a doula or doulas that fit your family's needs. Interviewing your doula helps ensure you find the perfect fit for your family!

Daytime Postpartum Support
$50 per/hour
Daytime Postpartum support looks different for every family. It is our intention as postpartum doulas to do the "heavy-lifting" for you. Postpartum doula support allows mothers and families to focus on healing, bonding with their little one, and cherishing the special time that is the fourth trimester.
Postpartum doula support includes tasks such as:

-
Lovingly caring for your baby so that you can rest
-
Basic lactation support
-
Light household chores such as dishes and laundry
-
Helping care for additional children
-
Meal prep and cooking
-
Grocery shopping or other errands
-
Offering advice, education, and resources surrounding feeding, infant sleep, postpartum healing and nutrition, and more
-
Helping you navigate the complexities of the fourth trimester

Overnight Postpartum Support
$50 per/hour
The foundation of postpartum healing is rest. It can be almost impossible to get a good night's sleep while caring for a newborn. Sleep deprivation can lead to frustration and low morale, which can, unfortunately, lead to postpartum depression. As nighttime postpartum doulas, it is our mission to provide you with the peace of mind that will allow you and your family to sleep well through the night.

Nighttime postpartum support tasks include:

-
Lovingly caring for your newborn so that you can get some rest
-
Basic lactation support
-
Promoting safe sleep habits
-
Basic household tasks, such as laundry and sanitizing bottles
